Several corners...
photo of a part of Turku Castle taken from a more unusual angle.
The history of Turku castle streches back to the 1280s. The castle heyday was in the mid 16th century during the rule of Duke Johan and Katarina Jagellonica, when the upper parts of the castle were built.
These are among the oldest parts and this "backyard" was originally the vegetable garden and before that one of the first yards of the castle. This is actually a few steps up already.
