My favorite childhood chairis still in good shape and use at my grandmothers.
It's been made by one of the late uncles for the children of the previous generation some 75 years ago. It's really comfortable to sit on even for adults.
I've actually used it today too...

Talk about made to last, the uncle would go broke today when the motto seems to be built to break. Great memory and photo. The perspective show it as a child's chair so well.
They don't make furniture like that anymore! What a great sentimental memory and keepsake!
The wood is so pretty and full of character. I love old chairs.
