We've had so much snow this winter, much more than some years before, and so very cold for a long time that some trees are broken or almost broken. Luckily this one will manage as it hasn't broken down completely yet.
Very pretty snow, but alas, it weighs and dammages not only tree branches, but even roofs. Did you hear about the roof of riding house caving in under the weight of heavy snow? Some riders were injured, and a horse had to be put down. This happened somewhere in southern Sweden. I don't remember exactly where. We have lots of pretty snow here in Norrkoping. I have taken some pictures, but have not yet figured out when I will post them. Maybe Sara Katt will have some of them. Happy Valintine's Day! Anna PS I put your blog on a list titled "Swedish blogs/svenska bloggar" on my blog. Please forgive me. I may start a separate list for Finland and move you over. I see the name "Brita" and take for granted...
Ja, fy - så där har det sett ut i min trädgård också!!! Visst är det sorgligt vackert ändå... Det är så tråkigt när gamla vackra träd tar stryk så där. Så här års brukar vi ha grön gräsmatta med massa vårlökar i.

So much snow... it all looks beautiful when one doesn't have to feel the cold! ;b
Wow broken or not it makes for a stunning photo! Happy weekend
I've had to throw many a tree branch away over the years for just that. Beautiful image and great take on the theme this week.

Happy Valentine's Day and Happy Chinese New Year!
They are beautiful, although you know they will be damaged by that much snow.

It is hard to believe that spring could be just around the corner!
A beautiful picture, enjoy your weekend.
Yes, the snow is very pretty, and such a sad story if the branches snap.
I had a month in Australia where the was a heta wave. I would like a holiday in the snow.

So beautiful and yet so sad that it breaks the trees.
