Photo Hunt - Veterans or Military


The veterans in our family have all passed away. We remember them always and are grateful for their contribution in getting us the free country that we have.
This picture is taken 2 years ago, when my son was in the army and they had kind of open house for relatives to come and see their premises. It was unfortunately a rainy and cold day. My son was serving in the transportation department and that day his job was to present to the interested visitors some of their vehicles and tell about their training.

    Nice photo.Thanks for sharing.My FIL is a retired army and also my BIL retired just a year after he got home from Iraq back in 2004.

    Your grand ma lived a ripe old age. Her life should be celebrated.

    Of course all separation is painful, but she is in a better place.

    Jag har inte hunnit titta på alla andras fotografier från förra veckans fotojakttema om det militära. Det är bara nu -en vecka senare- att jag hittat ditt.

    Jag beklagar sorgen. Vilken kvinna! Jag tänker skriva mer om hur kriget påverkade vissa kvinnors liv, men inte hunnit publicera någon text på min blogg ännu. Du verklar ha ett övermått av material på ämnet.

    Är du med i det här 365-foto-projektet? Då måste jag titta på dina bilder. Hinner inte i kväll, men snart. (Jag är med i NaBloPoMo, som betyder att man publicerar ett inlägg på sin blog varje dag under novembermånad.)
