The veterans in our family have all passed away. We remember them always and are grateful for their contribution in getting us the free country that we have. This picture is taken 2 years ago, when my son was in the army and they had kind of open house for relatives to come and see their premises. It was unfortunately a rainy and cold day. My son was serving in the transportation department and that day his job was to present to the interested visitors some of their vehicles and tell about their training.
Interesting photo. Did you have family members fithign teh Soviets? Happy weekend

Your grand ma lived a ripe old age. Her life should be celebrated.
ReplyDeleteOf course all separation is painful, but she is in a better place.
came via photo hunt.
Found you on PhotoHunt. I add my condolences on your grandmother's passing and your loss. I also want to congratulate you on your very ambitious project of the 365 photos in 2009. I looked at several of them and you have done very nice work. I'm sure I'll be back to enjoy your blog again.
ReplyDeleteScott
"Anna"
